Christmas Panic

I made a funny extra for any War of Winds fans out there. Enjoy watching Talon and Ravar panic beneath the mistletoe. Secretly, I think they have a grudging affection for each other, but they must keep up pretenses.

Something to talk about…

This is too cool not to share!

A while back, reader Roger Ellingham (known in the comment list here at Requiem as Count Thalim) got a hold of me privately about doing a satellite imagery style picture of the main continent (Ainm Baile) that much of Requiem takes place on.  Well today, he emailed me the final product.

What the good Count did was take the map that I had designed and layered satellite imagery from a whole ton of different NASA pictures to come up with the first satellite pictures of the world you are reading about.  I’ve been staring at it off and on for hours now, and I have to tell you that it is incredible.

So without further ado, I present to you one of the coolest things that I have ever seen.  it is visible right HERE

Thank you good sir, you have made my holiday!!!

Late, late, always late!

I even had this one done EARLY, but was a doofus and didn’t post it. Three sizes if anyone is looking for a wallpaper! Al-X and Maxim, I love your designs!

SpiderForest Swimsuit Wallpapers!

Heroines in swimsuits!

Heroines in swimsuits!

Doing the epic thing leaves little time to relax, but this summer there was some free time laying around…

I always missed this kind of events over at KeenSpace on account of never checking the forums in time, and this year summer ALMOST went by as well, so I conned a couple of SpiderForest fellows into joining the fun and make a wallpaper with each of our protagonists in a relaxing, swimsuit scene… So, let the fun begin!

(Yyyyeah… I may have been the one to suggest it but I’m the last to finish his piece… but it’s here! Click on the image for the full size!)

The marathon is over…

Things have been a little quiet from me over the last week or so, but I’ve been on a comic making marathon over the last three days.  6 comics total knocked out since 1:30AM Friday morning.

In the middle of it all, I ran into a couple of panels from Thursday and Friday of this week that I wanted to share with you all.

Every once in a while you get really lucky with how something you see in your head comes out on to the screen.  And frankly, I just love these two panels :)

Digital Art Demo

I was invited back to my High School to take part in an annual arts fest. It was great! I had a lot of fun, and I hope a lot of visitors did too. Mostly I demoed digital coloring in Photoshop on my tablet, and they even let me have a screen with a projector! That way, people didn’t have to group behind me, but could watch a big screen! I was there for 3 hours, and the renovations they completed on the building are fabulous! Whole new wings and art showcases! I didn’t get any pictures because I was far too busy taking part in the fest, but here’s the picture I started coloring :D

A little something from a related project…

A character concept/lighting test for a project I’ve been involved with that a friend of mine does…Done entirely in Poser 6, I wanted something that had good results, and was quick rendering. No postwork was used. This one is 1024×768 for easy wallpaperable goodness.
